Proofs
Birdhouse Laminated Bookmark with Tassel
If your order qualifies for a proof, proofs will be provided within 24 hours of order placement (excluding weekends, holidays and posted vacation schedules). 

Free proofs on:
~
All Deluxe Bookmark Orders (minimum order 8).
~ All Mini Bookmark Orders  (minimum order 18).
~ All Prayer Card Orders (minimum order 15).
~ Laminated recipe card orders where you are providing a recipe for printing.

We may also provide a proof if:
~ You have ordered a large number of recipe card sets or bookplate sets which you are giving to each guest as favors or keepsakes for an event, which would otherwise not qualify for a proof.

Please be sure to check your email within 24 hours of placing an order to see if a proof has been sent to you. Please provide a valid email address on your order, and please be sure that your spam filtering allows emails from
rosemarie@impressiveinscriptions.com .

Viewing your Proof:
You will receive an email directing you to a web page on our site where you will be able to view your proof. An email link will be available on your proof page to approve the design or ask for further changes. You can also find your proof by clicking on Search and entering your Order Number (found on your receipt) in the search box. The resulting page found will be your proof page if your order qualifies you for a proof.

Proofreading Approving your proof assumes you have carefully read and proofread all text for errors. Once you have approved a proof, we assume you have proofread and approved all copy shown in your proof, but if you approve a proof that contains an error, we will work with you on a fair order replacement price and take all factors into consideration. While personalization errors are rare, we do treat each case individually and can assure you a fair arrangement will be worked out for both you and Impressive Inscriptions depending on the circumstances.  We do our best to correct obvious misspellings, but we cannot, of course, spot errors in names and other proper nouns you may have misspelled when placing your order.  

Proof Approval:  We will proceed with your order once we receive your proof approval. You are welcome to ask us to make changes to our setup of your selections on your order form, if adjustments are needed. New proofs will be provided.* If we do not hear back from you after 5 days of providing your proof, we will attempt to contact you again by phone or email. If we still do not receive your response within a reasonable amount of time after our second contact attempt, your order will be processed without proof approval. You assume any responsibility for errors you made when entering your personalization. We will, of course, replace any items that contain an error made by us.

Changing Wording After Proofs Have Been Provided:  We provide proofs based on the text entered on your order form. We will correct any obvious misspellings but will otherwise copy the text exactly as you entered it on your order form. If we make a mistake on the wording, we are more than happy to make the correction and post a new proof.  However, if you made a mistake when entering the text on your order form or change your mind and want to make changes to the text you entered on your order form, as a courtesy we will make those changes to your print file without providing a new proof, since the changes are not a result of a mistake we made. We will post a new proof at our discretion only, usually if your changes affect the layout of the bookmark in a significant manner.

Changing Your Design After Proofs Have Been Provided: If you decide you would like to see your personalization on a different design in our catalog after we have provided proofs using the design choice in your order, a service charge of $5.00 will be added to your order.  If you change your order from a catalog design to a custom design after we have provided proofs using the design choice in your order, the custom design service charge of $10.00 will be added to your order.

Changing Your Color Choice After Proofs Have Been Provided: When you place your order for a particular design, you have the option of requesting it in any of the colors shown, or in another color (Using the Design Color Preferences box on the order form). We will recolor the design at no extra charge and provide your proof based on the selections or instructions in your order.  If you decide after seeing your proof that you would like to see the same design in a different color scheme than the one you selected on your order, a $5.00 service charge will be added to your order.

*For orders under $50.00, up to two proofs will be provided free of charge.  Any further changes will incur a $10.00 service charge.

Tassels:  Proofs are computer-generated images created before the printing, laminating and completion process.  If you have ordered bookmarks with tassels, your proof will not show the tassel.

Individual Personalization:  If you have ordered products of the same design but with a different name printed on each, your proof will show an example set up with just one of the names, usually one of the longer names on your list so you can see the font size that will be used on all bookmarks.  Please be assured we proofread the names in a 2-step process to ensure we do not make errors, but if by chance you do receive a product on which the name has been printed incorrectly due to an error on our part, we will replace the product immediately at no cost to you.

Color:  Due to the varying monitor brands, quality, and settings on which proofs can be viewed, we cannot guarantee that the colors or brightness/darkness of your proof will match those of the printed product. Proofs are provided to give an overall view of order setup, especially for proofreading purposes, but are not exact to the printed product.  Proofs are electronically generated before the printing process. In general, proofs appear brighter than the actual printed product but can vary according to monitor settings.

Order Turnaround Time:  Please see current turnaround time to determine approximate order timeframe from order placement to order receipt.

Proofs cannot be provided prior to placing an order or in response to your inquiries. We must be in receipt of your order in order to do any work on your design.
